If you visit Galway and never get to feel the genuine warmth, humor and pride of the local people, you've missed out on the most memorable attraction of this city. The Four Seasons is an excellent place to experience that and it added greatly to my vacation memories of Ireland. The hosts were the kindest people I've ever encountered while traveling. They made us feel like family members and I don't think they ever sleep. The place was spotless, breakfast was awesome (try an omlette) and it's an easy and very pleasant walk to the center of town. If you only feel comfortable in 5 star hotels with big marble lobbies, this might not be for you. But if you want to feel like a local for a few days in a nice house with very gracious hosts, give Eddie and Helen a ring.

Just spent two nights at the Four Seasons B and B in Galway. Eddie and Helen are very gracious hosts. The right blend of being very helpful, but giving you your own space. Breakfasts are great! Easy walk to downtown. Would stay there again for sure!

Eddie was a fabulous host from the moment we hit town. He picked us up from the bus station and gave us a mini-tour of the center of Galway on the drive home to the B&B. It really did feel like we were staying an uncle--he was so warm, funny, sincere, helpful, and hospitable. Gave great restaurant recommendations based on what we wanted and you could tell he knew the town inside and out. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the free wireless internet. Sure the rooms are a little out-of-date but they are comfortable and very clean. For those of you looking for a great local experience (not posh accommodations) this is a solid choice.

We recently took a trip where we stayed in four B&B's in Ireland, and this was the first and the best. We had no idea what to expect, but Eddie and Helen were so welcoming that it felt like we were visiting family. The rooms were a little small, but you don't go to Galway to stay in your room anyway, right? The breakfast was wonderful, the tips on what to see and do were very helpful, and Eddie's jokes had us laughing for days. A lot of the B&B's on this particular street look exactly the same, but its doubtful that any of them can match this one's wonderful hosts.

An absolutely wonderful B & B. Eddie and Helen are so welcoming. It truly felt like visiting relatives. The three of us had a nice big room overlooking the garden. The location couldn't be more perfect, just minutes away from all the action but on a quiet street. The breakfast is wonderful, as well. When I'm back in Galway I will not stay anywhere else!
