My wife and I have just returned from a memorable five night stay at this wonderful B&B. We holiday a lot around Ireland and have stayed in many B&Bs of varying quality- this was hands-down the most comfortable and pleasant family home we have yet experienced.
The owners couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay, recommending various pubs, restaraunts, outings, etc. The breakfast was particularly memorable both for the freshness and variety of the food on offer.
The B&B is very conveniently located for all the pubs, etc in town, being only a ten minute walk from the city centre.
Can't recommend this place enough, and we stayed in the annex, which was comfortable and private and has its own separate entrance- handy when you've had one Guinness too many and don't want to wake the rest of the house on your way in!

I have just returned from a too short visist to Ireland. I needed two rooms for two nights and contacted a few B&Bs. I chose the Four Seasons in the end and decided to call them directly. I spoke with Eddie on the phone, and after that I became so excited about the upcoming trip. He was just so welcoming on the phone and when we arrived. Our rooms were spacious, clean, with great showers and toiletries. The breakfasts were the best we had on the trip, no grease! It's a great location, five minutes to the square, and a few houses from the greyhound track.
I would definately recomend this B&B as a great alternative to staying in a chain hotel. Fantastic experience.

I stayed at this B&B on a 5-day trip to Galway, and was pleasantly surprised. The neighbourhood is quiet and is only around ten minutes walk away from the shops (Eyre Square) and all the pubs. There is even a greyhound track 2 minutes in the other direction.

The proprietors themselves are kindly people, who went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their guests had a good time. As has been said in the other reviews of this B&B, it is this aspect, the service, that sets the place apart. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Plenty of friendly advice is given if needed, and lots of information about what to do in Galway is available. I have only experienced this kind of service in the past in 5* hotels.

The prices were pretty reasonable for what you get. The rooms are functional, but that's what I paid for. There is Sky TV and a shower / toilet; I stayed in a single room - the doubles may be different.

The breakfasts themselves are very good. I never partook of the Irish breakfast / smoked salmon myself, but I can certify that the breakfasts certainly fill you up. The fruit salads are good, and the supply of bread is overflowing. This is a great thing for me. There are also omelettes, newspapers and whatever else you need.

In summary: if you're thinking of staying in Galway, go to this place. You won't regret it.

Eddie and Helen are very sweet, the location is absolutely perfect and the neighborhood is walking distance to anything you could need. We walked the neighborhood from the minute we got there and we didn't have one single problem navigating or finding just about anything our little touristy girl hearts desired. Eyre Square is about a ten minute walk, shops all around, yet the neighborhood is quiet enough to have a sleep in. My friend and I are planning to go back to Galway for a week and we're going to stay at the Four Seasons.

I stayed in this B&B twice. First time was back in 2002 with 2 friends and it was excellent. The rooms clean and comfy and the owners could not have been more friendly or helpfull.

I returned there in Sept 2004 and was greeted in exactly the same way. Still exceptional and the breakfasts were lovely. We stayed in the Annex and I have to say that we really liked it. It was nice and private and was kept very clean.

Will definately be going back at some stage this year
