Friendly welcome, convenient location, wonderful food. Geraldine goes out of her way to make everyone feel like home! She is helpful with any tours or reservations you wish to do. Her breakfasts, served in a garden room, are delicious. Just park the car when you arrive and walk to any destination you want! We loved it!

What a wonderful place. We were greeted by Geraldine with hugs and tons of information. She drew us maps and gave us suggestions. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are tasty.
I highly recommend staying here. It's convenient to the city center and she is like a mom to her guests (which is nice when you've been traveling for a while.)

I booked my room the day before I arrived via telephone. When I arrived there was a young lady who checked me in. She was very helpful, and when I told her that I had just arrived in town and had no idea where I was going, she printed off a map off the town and highlighted some places she recommended for dinner and to see some good live music.

When I came back that night, Geraldine greeted me, and asked me how my day was and what my plans were for the next day. When I told her I wanted to get out to the Cliffs of Mohr, she picked up the phone and arranged for the tour bus to pick me up right outside of the B&B.

Everyone was so helpful and kind. The breakfast was great, and I had a wonderful experience. The room was fairly small, but I spent so little time there that it didn't matter. I didn't have any issues with noise from other guests. I would certainly stay there again.

Nice place. We stayed a split week... first few days, very small room upstairs, clean and efficient. Could hear other doors slam and people walking above us however. Second half, we stayed in back, even smaller room but very quiet. Shower was tiny and was on a pump that you had to hold down to get water. Aside from rooms, we received great treatment...personal, mother like. She gave us good directions, asked us about our day, even made sure we were dressed appropriately for going to Aran Islands. Did not get full Irish breakfast but she made us eggs, bacon, toast, etc each morning and had cereal, yougurt, brown bread, etc ready when we got there. Friendly. I felt very much at home. Great location. about 10 minutes to City Center

Stayed here with three friends for one saturday night-initially owner seemed very nice and friendly-accomodated an extra person at short notice without any problems. We stayed in the room downstairs which was very clean with its own bathroom and was large enough for all of us. Up to this point we were very pleased with our stay but we really felt let down by the breakfast and the attitude of the owner the next morning. We went out for breakfast within the time slot allowed and everyone else around seemed to be tucking into delicious looking full fry ups, this, however, was not the case for us. The owner brought out toast etc and then asked us did we want 'bacon and eggs' by which we assumed she meant the works-we literally had two greasy fried eggs and two rashers put down in front of us. When my friend asked for sausages the owner snapped at her that she had not defrosted enough sausages and she was not about to start giving people food poisoning by defrosting more in the microwave. Now in my opinion this was not our problem-granted she did not know we had one extra person but the same was told to the couple who sat down after us-it was expensive enough to stay here and it was her mistake to not defrost enough-a quick trip by a member of staff to the shop to purchase fresh sausages should have been made. We were snapped at again when we tried to order scrambled eggs for another friend who was on her way from the room and we were told that the policy was no orders until people were seated in the dining room-although the order did then appear without us actually asking again?!
However by the time we were packed up and leaving she was all smiles again and did not charge full rate for the fourth person as two of us shared a bed which was fine as had been our own choice to bring extra person but we did appreciate it all the same.
Overall I would have returned and probably recommended it to others up until the breakfast which was just so disappointing.
