We stayed in this hotel during a tour through Ireland. The hotel was spotless and well stocked. Our standard room was spacious and the bathroom was large also. The room had awesome included amenities such as flat screen TV, spacious shower, and lots of odds and ends including a mini fridge. THe room was very quiet. The bedding was very relaxing. Honestly, I had the two best nights of sleep I have ever had while traveling abroad.

The staff was courteous, prompt, and attentive. The front desk staff always helped with directions with a smile.

Breakfast was good. It had a lot of variety including fresh fruit. Dinner was okay. I have had better. Another disappointing thing is that there is no pay phone in the hotel. The closest was Dunnes Store about a 7 minute walk away.

All and all we were thrilled and would stay again. It is a good location, nice staff, and do not forget the wonderful bedding.

great hotel. very nice. big rooms unlike most in europe that we experienced. Everything was nice and it was a great departure from the other hotels in our other cities in Europe.

Two Issues:
1) Not really too close to the main part of Galway.

2) Internet is super expensive.

  • Liked — Very big, clean rooms

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were a decent, would have liked a good sized double rather than the 2 smaller double beds we got. Bathroom OK. Breakfasts were fantastic, really really good and they ran till 11am which is always nice. Had one main meal and it was OK. Location was OK, a little far to walk at night from the main going out areas, but close enough for a daytime dander.

From the moment of arrival to time of departure my stay was one of the most enjoyable I have had. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. My room was very spacious with a lovely en-suite. Both were very clean. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. The bar provided a lovely space to relax after the meal and the pianoman proved to be the highlight of the night.
Didin't expect to hear such quality entertainment so it was a nice surprise.
Will definitely be coming back

This was our 2nd time here as we stayed here about 2 years ago when the hotel had just opened.

it still looks and feels as new as before.
It's rare to find such clean bathrooms..and I have stayed in 100's of hotels and not often does one find such attention to cleanliness.
The bedrooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated to feel fresh with very soothing lighting not to mention the generous size.

The staff are warm and very natural people who all seem very happy in their work.
The food was excellent and again top class service.

We had planned to explore the city at night but found it hard to leave when we heard the guy singing at the piano in the bar
Very talented and very entertaining..he had a list of hundred's of songs to request from.
We ended up avoiding the city nighy -life both nights
It felt like a real night out in the hotel bar and stayed in the hotel bar on both nights
A real pleasant surprise and the icing on the cake for a great weekend
