Stayed here for 1 night and was disappointed. Called the hotel and asked for a single, non-smoking, quiet room.
The room stank of cigarette smoke, and when I called down to reception to complain, the lady advised me that I had a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. She did offer to move me, but I declined as it was late, and if it was a non-smoking floor, then I did not expect to get anything better.
The shower was USELESS and the remote control for the TV was broken.
Breakfast: my requested tea was served in a Coffee Pot! I could not stir the tea ,as it was impossible to get a spoon down into a coffee pot, and when I went to pour my tea, the tea-bag dropped out and splashed tea all over my white shirt!!!!!!
Like I said - very disappointed with this hotel and most definitely will not be back....

We stayed one night at this hotel. It was clean, but was typical big city Hotel. It was within easy walking to downtown Galway. The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean.

We stayed at this hotel the last two nights of September for an average price of 70 Euros. We were very pleasantly surprised to find out when we checked in that we had been upgraded to a junior suite. Our room was incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable.

My only minor complaint is that the heat didn't work. Also the ice machines were not usable because of "bacteria in the water" according to their signs which meant a trip down to the bar everytime we needed ice.

Parking was very easy at the hotel. They have an underground car park and you simply have to have the ticket validated before leaving each time.

We arrived a few hours early so our room wasn't ready. The front desk staff offered us seats in the lobby and coffee while we waited. They also gave us a map of the area. Nice staff but I saw a piece of paper warning of not drinking the water at the front desk. The staff didn't mention it at all! The room was a typical Marriott room. It took a bit to figure out that you have to leave your key in the slot on the wall in order for the lights to stay on. We asked the cleaning ladies first what to do for the lights, but they didn't speak english. We stayed there two nights, no breakfast, which stinks for the price we paid. About $350 for 2 nights during high season.
