Came here with my boyfirend for a romantic break. Stunning sea views, beautiful weather, great staff, bed was massive (I would say queen sized) rooms huge, very modern and clean, housekeeping excellent and the staff are excellent. I would recommend this to anybody!!

I stayed at this hotel as I attended a conference in the better known hotel next door. This hotel was refusbished recently and now boasts an excellent fitness centre. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I asked for a sea view and wasn't disappointed. Good bar food. Breakfast was the only let down: there was a poor selection on both mornings. It also took a considerable length of time before breakfast was served on the second morning (on the first morning hot food was available buffet-style but on the second day I had to wait to order then wait for the food). No beauty therapist or spa; otherwise this hotel would cater to most needs.

Stayed in the Salthill Hotel over the Easter weekend and it was brilliant. The room was excellent very clean and the next day we didnt have the room cleaned but they still left towels at the door. We ate in the bar on the first night and it was superb especially the staff the waitress that served us was lovely and kept talking to us throughout our stay. The hotel is only a quick walk away from the shops in Salthill. All in all i would definately reccommend this hotel and the only fault we found was that the radiators are turned on at night and makes the room very hot but definately worthwhile hotel and I will definately be back.

Smooth check in. Room we got was big, bright and very clean. Bar and bar food is excellent as are the staff. Had our meal in the restaurant on the second night of our stay and have to say that we really enjoyed it. As for the leisure centre- NOW that is something else. It has to be the best i have even been in. Everything about this hotel is 4 star from the staff, to food to how clean and tidy everything is. Will be back.

Stayed in The Salthill Hotel for two nights. The location is excellent, on the front overlooking Galway Bay. The hotel is very modern, spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was probably the largest hotel bedroom I have ever stayed in - with sea view. The bathroom was huge and clean, with a great shower. We ate in the restaurant one evening and had a set four course meal for €25 each - the food and choice was good. The second evening we ate in the bar and while much more busy and noisy the quality of the food was good. I recommend the hotel if people want to vist the Galway/Connemara area as there is easy access to both with a car.
