My husband and I stayed at Griffin Lodge for 2 nights in June 2008. We were greeted by Ann with a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was tiny but very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. Everything was clean, bright, and fresh-looking.
We really enjoyed the Irish breakfast, and I found out how good Fruit 'n' Fibre cereal is. The soda bread was delicious! We liked the casual, homey feel of the dining room, and the B&B as a whole. Ann was like my favorite aunt making us feel at home.
The B&B was a little hard to find as it was tucked away down a side road off the main road where we were expecting it to be, so if you are getting there on your own, make sure to have a good map and keep your eyes open for the street!
We would definitely recommend that anyone stay here while in Galway. It was a great deal and a wonderful experience.
