We drove past the hotel twice before realising it was a hotel. From the outside, it looks more like a modern office building. There is only the "g" sign out front that identifies the property. The hotel is quite different, in a positive way. It is very modern and the colours are strong bright pink's. Very art deco. The room we booked was a Junior Suite. It was a nice room and the gas fireplace was the highlight. Large bathroom with bath and large shower. The view from the room is across the causeway. The only thing I would warn against is that if you are looking for a typical Irish hotel, located in the middle of Galway, then there are other choices. The hotel as I said is ultra modern and located a good 25 minute walk to the centre of Galway. There is only one pub opposite if you want to eat outside the hotel. Overall, a very comfortable hotel with all the amenities, gym etc.
