I stayed in the G for the second time recently and just loved it - again. I was a little worried that the first time may have been luck on our part but the second visit was even better!

My boyfriend had booked a suite for us as a birthday present and we were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival. It was just fantastic!! The G beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The bathroom in the suites are also fantastic with double showers and a stand alone bath with tv.

The dinner was lovely - possible the best lemon sole I've ever had!! Wasn't too pushed about my boyfriends choice but he liked it! As for the breakfast - well, I'd stay there again just to have it! I love that breakfast!!!

The only one thing I do not like about the hotel is the check in/out times. Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am. Overall though I love this hotel and just can't wait to go back.

Enjoy!

We stayed at the G for one night and I wish we could have stayed there much longer.

It is without doubt one of the best hotels in the country. Everything from the quality of the furnishings and decor to the staff are excellent.

We received a complimentry upgrade on arrival which was a nice touch. The room was fabulous and the bathroom, including his/hers showers, was first class.

Dinner in the restaurant was beautifully presented and delicious and breakfast the following morning was equally good.

I can not say enough about the high quality of this hotel and especially the staff, who make you feel like your the only guest in the building.

Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break or just for some time to spoil yourself. Yes it is expensive and is situated beside a busy road, but dont let this put you off. You get what you pay for anf wont be disappointed by the G.

This is a great place to stay in Galway. The staff are great, the rooms are fabulous, and the bar and restaurant are excellent.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

I recommend it 100%

If you want to treat yourself or your partner, this is the place to do it, valet parking on arrival, and if you want to go back out, just call them from the room and they will bring your car around.

You get a guided tour of the hotel as soon as you check in, the decor has been done really tastefully(some warhol designs) and the hotel has everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel, the Breakfast was probably the best i have had in a 5 star, based on selection and quality, the hotel is a nice place to relax with a coffee and paper during the day or a few coctails by night. We booked a suite and it was very impressive, the hotel is expensive but you do get a classy hotel for your money......

would highly reccommend this hotel for a special treat and their website seams to offer the most competitive rate.

just to note.. the hotel is about a 20-25 min walk to eyre square.

Just back from 2 nights at The G Hotel in Galway.

It is a beautiful inside with different rooms to sit down and relax in. The bar prices are relatively expensive but there was entertainment each evening which was excellent and it was a pleasure to hang out in the hotel.

It is about a 3-4 min drive from the town centre and a 15 min walk.

Stayed in a Superior room which is the basic room. As with the rest of the hotel it was nice, comfortable and well decorated in a very modern style. The bathroom was a decent size and shower was good.

Breakfast was excellent. There was a good selection of food for the continental side of things and the cooked breakfast was very good also. One small thing that annoyed me is that milk for the cereal was not chilled but placed in a large glass jug. Surely there must be some sort basic technology available to keep the milk chilled!

It has a 5 star rating but I would give it a high 4 for a couple of reasons. The grounds outside the hotel are non existent and the back and side of it connects to a group of shops and cinema. There is a Spa there but no pool for general use by the guests.

Overall it was a very pleasent stay with only the warm milk on my cereal and the grounds surrounding the hotel letting it down. Once you are inside the building it is a pleasure to stay in.
