We were so fortunately to have stayed here for 2 days of our Ireland trip. Frank & his wife were extremely helpful, and serve great breakfasts. The room were clean, the place is quiet, and is within easy distance to the downtown area.

We will certainly stay here again!

We had nothing but great hosts and great B&Bs in Ireland, but Frank is in a class all his own. We spent 3 nights at Petra, and actually spent our anniversary there. Frank took great care of us, going the extra mile on several occasions. I can not rate this B&B highly enough. It was a fantastic way to finish our Ireland vacation. Galway is a great town, and if you make it there be sure to get out to the Aran Islands.

We stayed 3 days with Joan and Frank and had a Great time! The room we had was very elegant. We felt like royalty. Joan cooked us a delicious breakfast (there was even a menu to choose from) and Frank served us with a wonderful wit and humor. We had such an enjoyable time with the two of them. They were very helpful on directions, etc .
I can't recommend this lovely couple or their beautiful home enough!!!

What a fantastic B&B! We had excellent stay here. Frank and Joan are such wonderful people. They helped us with everything we needed and were extremely accommodating. (On one of our first days there, as we were about to walk out into the rain, they offered us umbrellas)! The breakfast was top notch: Frank comes into the breakfast room in the morning and hands you menus with INCREDIBLE, delicious choices, then brings out a basket of scones and soda bread along with the delicious meal. You feel like you're in a restaurant. They cooked the best bacon we had in Ireland. The rooms and the hallways are charming, spotless, and neat, the location is a good 10 minute walk from the town, but not inconvenient. Frank and Joan were the best part, though: they were never invasive, but always helpful and incredibly friendly, making us feel instantly at home. I can't recommend this B&B more highly.
