We stayed four nights in March and, aside from not being able to drink the tap water because of the Galway water crisis, it was a perfect spot. The room was small but very comfortable and quiet, Staff were very helpful, from front desk to porter who parked the car in the cramped parking lot (a real plus in downtown Galway). It's just off Eyre Square, so it's quiet but close to everything. We used it as a base to explore the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was almost too good - we staggered out each morning after indulging ourselves shamelessly. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we did eat in the bar, where we had one of our best meals in two weeks.

The Park House Hotel is in a great location, you can walk anywhere in Galway from their location. My family and I spent two nights there and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms where very large and comfortable and the hotels decor is very lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Galway.

The Park House was recomended by a friend who had visited galway two years ago. This truely was an excellent hotel and really made our 2 night, weekend stay in Galway, a trip to remember ! (IT WAS THAT GOOD, WE STAYED AN EXTRA NIGHT, AND LEFT MONDAY !) Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. Service in each department - from reception, room service, porters, house-keeping to the bar/floor staff was exceptional ! (Must mention Patricia who worked in the Bar who was really pleasant and gave us plenty of sound advice on places to go and things to do.). We booked a Deluxe Room, and for a few extra Euro, it was well worth it... The hotel is perfectly situated at the bottom of Eyre Square, with pubs, restaurants and the shopping area on its doorstep. My only regret was that we didnt get the chance to sample the brilliant menu in the hotel restaurant... Each time we passed, the room was packed ,everyone looked happy, and you could tell we were missing out !! We were eating elsewhere at the invitation of friends, but next time round, we will definately be bringing friends to eat at the Park House. From the moment we sent our first query via email to the moment we checked out we were impressed by the friendly manner of all the staff.

We travelled with a young child and every member of the staff went out of their way to make us and her welcome. High Chairs appeared as we sat down and doors were opened as the buggy approached.

The valet parking is a real plus and the porters were able to advise on short cuts and trips.

The food was good but the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.
