The Park House was recomended by a friend who had visited galway two years ago. This truely was an excellent hotel and really made our 2 night, weekend stay in Galway, a trip to remember ! (IT WAS THAT GOOD, WE STAYED AN EXTRA NIGHT, AND LEFT MONDAY !) Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. Service in each department - from reception, room service, porters, house-keeping to the bar/floor staff was exceptional ! (Must mention Patricia who worked in the Bar who was really pleasant and gave us plenty of sound advice on places to go and things to do.). We booked a Deluxe Room, and for a few extra Euro, it was well worth it... The hotel is perfectly situated at the bottom of Eyre Square, with pubs, restaurants and the shopping area on its doorstep. My only regret was that we didnt get the chance to sample the brilliant menu in the hotel restaurant... Each time we passed, the room was packed ,everyone looked happy, and you could tell we were missing out !! We were eating elsewhere at the invitation of friends, but next time round, we will definately be bringing friends to eat at the Park House. This hotel really has got it right !Definitely return soon. R o'heidin, Derry/Donegal.

From the moment we sent our first query via email to the moment we checked out we were impressed by the friendly manner of all the staff.

We travelled with a young child and every member of the staff went out of their way to make us and her welcome. High Chairs appeared as we sat down and doors were opened as the buggy approached.

The valet parking is a real plus and the porters were able to advise on short cuts and trips.

The food was good but the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We were a party of six who treated ourselves to a short break after christmas. What a fantastic break. Very friendly reception upon arrival and very warm and comfortable room. Oh and our car was parked for us also, what a treat!!!.
Overall, we had a wonderful weekend. Food was excellent, as per usual. If there was one thing I had fault with, it is the air conditioning unit or heating system that you can hear from Room 311. Seems to be running all night. But however, sleep we did and we will be back again, but maybe not in Room 311.

Stayed here two weekend nights and were very pleased with almost everything. Driving directions off website were very clear and parking was abundant and free.
All the staff, Porters, Waiters, Front desk, Barmen were exceptionally good and always very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were spacious and very clean and had satelite TV (including 3 Sports channels) and morning and evening newspapers were delivered daily.
Had one meal in the restaurant and this was excellent as was the breakfast.
However, we have one small gripe about our stay.
We decided to have our breakfast in bed both days, as I said the breakfast was excellent but I thought the delivery charge of E6.25 per breakfast was excessive (E25 in total for the two mornings)
Having said that, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.
All in all, a first class stay.

We stayed at 20 different facilities in 7 weeks abroad and we decided we would only give out two "fives." This was one of them. We had to find the manager upon checkout to compliment him on the quality of his operation. We never met an employee without a smile, from front desk to bar to restaurant to housekeeping. What a difference that makes in the quality of the stay. We also had several non-standard requests during our stay and each was met with an "of course" even though they weren't sure how they were going to actually get it done.

The rooms were large and well appointed and an absolute steal for less than 100 Euros. We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant which was very good. Breakfasts were pretty standard with a substantial cold selection and promptly served cooked-to-order hot items. We had the same breakfast server three days in a row and on the last day she brought a pot of decaf and a pot of regular coffee to our table as soon as we sat down. Brilliant!

The location right off Eyre Square was perfect for getting around the center of town. We enjoyed An Pucan across the street with some amateur diddely-diddely music each night and we had a great dinner at the Malt house across the square and down the pedestrian mall.

Of all the hundreds of hotels in which we have stayed, the Park House would be in the top ten, and for the price it would be a clear winner.
