Having stayed in any number of four and five-star properties, this is one of my favorites. I stayed for a few nights with several family members around Thanksgiving. Service is exceptionally friendly and efficient. The restaurant is excellent, particularly breakfast. Some of the rooms are in need of updating, but that is a minor complaint. The overall welcoming feel of the hotel is unique and wonderful.

I have stayed at the Park House Hotel in Galway on a number of occasions. It is by far one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of enjoying. It is a spotlessly clean, friendly & warm hotel and is ideally located just off Eyre Sq. in Galway city. Myself and a group of friends stayed there at the begining of March this year.
The food for both breakfast and dinner are of the highest quality and are served in a welcoming and fresh restaurant.
The bedrooms are large and have beautiful en-suite bathrooms,(which are well stocked with brand-name shompoo etc!).
We were served at all times by really outstanding staff in all departments. The chivalrous porter even brought our bags to the train station for us on our departure. (F.Y.I. the train station is conveniently situated about 2 minutes walk from the hotel).
I have nothing bad to say about the Park House Hotel. It is a marvel, a hotel amongst hotels. I will stay there again, that is if I can get a room as I know they find themselves booked out far in advance.
My compliments to the manager and the staff of the hotel for their commitment to the word hospitality and to the well oiled ship that they run with such professionalism.

The Park House Hotel was unbelievable. It was so beautiful, warm and inviting. I went to the Park House with my Mother,brother and his wife and my 10 year old son. My brother who doesn't travel, has not stopped talking about how wonderful this hotel was. We even asked to talk to the manager/owner to tell them what a wonderful place,staff and service they have. The food in the restaurants where wonderful, the full Irish breakfast was the best. There was plenty of restaurants in the city to choose from but the hotels where far to good to go elsewhere. The desserts were incrediable and the white coffee, you would think you go to Ireland for the tea, but I am a coffee drinker and let me tell you the coffee is far better than the states. I miss that most. The staff couldn't do enough for you. We hung out in the lobby every night, it was go warm and comfortable. I really can't say enough about it. I would highly recommend it to everyone going to Ireland. My only regret was that it was too short and my husband didn't go with me. I loved my stay at the Park House. My choice of hotels where between the Forester and Park House and after seeing the Forester, I am so glad I made the right choice. Go and stay for yourself. Keep up the great service Park House.

i stayed at the hotel last summer and it was one of the nicest hotels that i ever stayed at. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, space orientaed and i would definely stay again and resonable value for money
