We booked the Park House Hotel through their website and got an excellent deal.
The hotel was in a great location, we were right in the centre Galway citn. The hotel porter parked our car and we did not have to worry about it again until we left. It was a nice break from all the touring!
The staff were all very helpful and gave really good service in all areas of the hotel - restaurant, reception and bar. We were informed on check-in that we had been upgraded to a deluxe room which was a very nice surprise!
Our room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The room had an entrance hall with a dining table, a seating area with couch and arm-chair and two big beds. Really clean and well-maintained.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was really good - the best we'd come across on our trip to Ireland. The menu included in the package was five courses and there was a really good choice.
The breakfast was really good too with a great choice and selection, all freshly cooked to order.
The night-life is excellent in Galway, lots of interesting pubs with live traditional music. This hotel is the perfect base if you want to explore the city at night as you do not have to worry about taxis or finding a car-park.
This was definitely the best hotel we stayed in during our trip.
