We enjoyed our third short visit to the Park House, excellently located in Galway's attractive city centre and very close to the train and intercity bus stations. This is a well run four star in a cunningly converted old building. Despite its central location, it has (limited) complimentary parking for residents in its own space.

The largely windowless public areas are over furnished, over decorated and poorly lit. However, all the rooms we have used were bright, spacious and well equipped.

The elegant restaurant serves an excellent breakfast with hot food cooked to order. It's also seems a popular venue for dinner. Room service was unusually quick.

The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Recommended.

This was one of our stops during our tour of western Ireland. The room was rather small. Bed linens were not of the highest quality. Considering this is the highest rated hotel in Galway, I did not see the luxury that we found in other places in Ireland.

The room and the bathroom were very clean, as well as the other parts of the hotel.

Breakfast was served in a restaurant off the main lobby.
There was a tour bus being served, but the wait staff was well able to handle the crowd. Food was good, but not great.

There were two great things about this hotel. It is close to the center of the city with secure parking. In Galway, that is an important consideration.

Finally, the young man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. He gave us recommendations and maps of the area. He seemed genuinely interested in us and that we have a good time in Galway.

Stayed on the Sat night in a suite with 4 kids. Found the room spacey and well appointed, toilet quite roomy too.
Restaurant on Sat evening was its usual excellent self was pricey but this is rip off ireland. Staff 20/10 very very friendly with a good mix of local and foreign staff. Bar quite busy but the music is woefull worse than two cats mating. Overall no problem recommending friends this one

Thanks a mil to he friendly, efficient staff throughout the park house hotel for making our stay so enjoyable. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

The hotel decor is warm, inviting and interesting. Fab, giant mirrors and antiques add to cosy ambience and luxurious feel. Our second -floor room and ensuite bathroom was spotlessly clean, cheerful and spacious. Air conditioning was very useful and worked well. There was plenty of hot water. The complimentary daily and evening papers were a nice perk and much appreciated.

The location for shopping, drinking and public transport couldn't be better as it's in city centre.

Breakfast was good even if dining-room was very busy. Didn't eat dinner here this time but look forward to doing so in future. Highly reccommend the park house hotel and we'll be back a.s.a.p.
