The Park House Hotel is a very comfortable hotel with an "Old World " ambience. The staff in all areas of the hotel were extremely helpful and polite at all times and really made me feel as if I was welcome in the hotel, nothing was too much trouble for them. My room was well appointed, and extremely clean, with crisp linen, plenty of towels and was lovely and warm. There was a well stocked welcome tray, in room safe and air conditioning in my room. The hotel is conveniently located for the Train and Bus Station in Galway just off Eyre Square and is very near the main shopping area as well. The food was lovely, a great breakfast buffet as well as a good choice of hot foods from the kitchen. Complementary morning and evening papers were delivered to my room, I though this was a very nice touch. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel; it was a pleasure to stay there.

Very nice hotel right off Eyre Square. I would highly recomended it to anyone staying in Galway especially if you have a car since it has free parking.

Can't say enough about the Park House Hotel in Galway. As soon we arrived, the staff was wonderful. Everyone was pleasant, and helpful. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast everyday, and one evening a fantastic dinner. We would definately stay again!

Wow...what a fabulous hotel. We got an excellent deal on a 6 night stay in a superior room, and I am impressed. My boyfriend said as we walked in, "Did you rob a bank?!" Very clean and elegant, exceptionally friendly staff, a late-night bar, and excellent complementary breakfast. Even the complementary toiletries were great! We definitely felt like the youngest people there (22-23yrs), there were a lot of older folks who seemed to give us strange looks at time, mainly at the bar! However, that would not stop me from staying her again. The bed was comfy, the TV had a great range of channels, and overall, everything was wonderful. It is right down the street from the bus station, Eyre Square, and several pubs are right across the street/slightly down the street. Also, the convenience store right across the street was great for late-night soda and snack cravings!

I thought this hotel was brilliant value for money. It has a good central location. Inside it is nicely furnished, warm and comfortable.

The room was also excellent, as was breakfast which had a wide variety of options. The high point however was the service. i'm just not used to such effortless, and friendly service. The staff did not put a foot wrong. I just wish there was a swimming pool and it would have been perfect!

Took us a little while to find the car park beside the hotel. We did not realise that it's actually at the side of the hotel (not on the main road), so we went round in circles a few times attempting to find somewhere to park. Once in the car park, the hotel pays for the parking, which I thought was another nice touch. Recommended.

  • Liked — overall high standard of service
  • Disliked — trying to locate the car park
