I arrived in Ireland at Shannon Airport and followed the directions to Ardawn House which owner Mike had so kindly emailed me. It took 3 hours from shannon airport to the guesthouse. On arrival i was welcomed and shown around the guesthouse.
I was first shown the living room which was very nice with a welcoming fire. I was told to help myself to tea and coffee any time and then i was given a map of the city and shown where the shopping district was it was only 2 min walk which suited me great. Sean showed me other various city attractions and also showed me where some nice restraunts were and told me if i had any questions he would be more than willing to help. Which was very polite of him.
I went to my room which had a brethtaking view of the Rugby pitch next door. The room was definetly 4 star, very clean, Tv with cable, room phone, hair dryer and had a very classy look.
The breakfast is to die for. There is 8 different corses to choose from i had a full Irish on the first day, salmone on the next day, fresh fruit salad on the next day.
Mike and Breda were very nice and told me where some great places in the city were.
I would highly recommend this guesthouse to any one who wants 4 star accomodation and realy nice hosts.
