This is a truly comfortable B&B. Clean, charming, and very well located for Galway city and siteseeing. Owners are kind and helpful, and the food is wonderful. The breakfast alone is worth going to Galway. We loved out time at Ardawn House.

I'm a little confused by some of the glowing reviews on the site. Ardawn house is a modern B & B lacking in charm, but fully functional if that's what you're looking for. The biggest down side is that the house is at the end of a large row of B & B's s on a main street, so if you've got a room that has a window on the main road, be prepared for a LOT of noise all night. I kind of liked the close proximity to the greyhound track next door, but other than that, there's not a lot to distinguish this place from the other B & B's on the block. If I had to do it over again, I would have stayed a little bit more out of town. At any rate, due to the noise factor, I would not stay here again.

Nice B'n'B very close to Galway City beside the Greyhound Track (good fun as well btw).

Nice sized bathroom with shower.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.
No tea/coffee facilities in the room but large selection in the living room area.
Small parking area outside.

All round nice place to stay.

On arrival we were met by Danielle who was extremely friendly and welcoming. After showing us to our room she gave us a map of Galway city and pointed out the best area for restaurants etc. We had a twin room which was clean and comfortable. Nest morning we met Mike and his wife who prepared and served a beautiful breakfast in what is a lovely dining room. Mike and Breda are very friendly people. Before we left I discovered my car had a puncture. Mike took the time to direct me to a repair centre. You can't really ask for much more than what you get at Ardawn. We would highly recommend it to anyone, and if in Galway again we will have no hesitation in staying there again.
