Made very welcome by the owner Sara how took us all the our rooms.

Rooms:

Well layed out bedroom, all with bathroom (shower only)
TV (no telephone)
Tea/coffee

Bed linen was very fresh and clean.

Breakfest:

Full Irish cooked breakfest within price which was very nice, there was also other hot and cold food on other as well... including orange.

The whole B & B was well apointed and well kept including the grounds outside.

Would we go back:

Yes, it was a great place to start your day!

Great B&B, a 15 minute walk to Galway centre and a few minutes to Salthill. OK, the bathroom was very small and as such there was a knack to getting on the loo(!) but the bed was extremely comfortable and the cul de sac very quiet so a great nights sleep was had. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was superb.

  • Liked — Convenient and quiet location
  • Disliked — Small shower room

Ross House was our last B&B of our vacation. The walk to downtown was 15 minutes. The pancakes were delicious. The room was ok. I know the bathrooms in B&B’s are tiny but this was the smallest of them all. We didn’t shower because we saw hairs in the stall. It’s a little dingy. But I will say that the woman is very sweet. I would definitely try another place if I ever go back.

Ross House's strong point is the easy access to downtown Galway, a ten to fifteen minute walk at most. Our room and breakfast were adequate for a one-night stop, but in our opinion it didnt live up to the expectation created by other reviews.

  • Liked — Its convenience to Galway
  • Disliked — The bedroom was a bit tired

Our room at Ross House was clean and our hostess very kind. The best thing about our stay at Ross House, though, was the pancakes! Definitely get the pancakes!
