I stayed in this hotel for two nights over 'race week' possibly the most challenging week for any hotel in Ireland and found it absolutely brilliant. Check-in staff were very welcoming and helpful as were the night door staff. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. This hotel also has a bar and restaurant, the bar serves a good variety of drinks at a reasonable price for a hotel and the restaurant good food. I would highly recommend this hotel, due to both it's excellent central location in Galway and it's gorgeous rooms and friendly staff.

This hotel near the centre of Galway has been done up in a lively boutique style and offers attractive rooms at very reasonable rates. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast offerings (served until 10:30 am in the restaurant and noon in the bar) were well prepared and substantial. (Even the coffee staisfied our North American tastes!) We were able to book a quiet room for two with double bed (and a nice firm mattress) for just 90 euros per night including breakfasts during the Arts Festival using the hotel's website. Much more convenient that a B&B in Salthill and excellent value for the money. Parking is available in the parkade behind the hotel at half regular rates (about 9 euros per day). Al Muretto restaurant around the corner serves delicious Italian food and pizzas.

I stayed in forster hotel for 2 nights and have 2 admit it was a great hotel. It is right beside the train station and the heart of town. The receptionist was very professional and the manager was the most pleasent that i have ever met in a hotel. the food was exceptional including room service breakfast. the only problem i found was the heat in the bedroom and the manager in the bar after hours did not seem to be enjoying his job and seemed in a very bad mood which was a pity as everything else was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

First rate visit. Group of four golfers, treated with care. Travel Agent offered the Park House Hotel right next door, glad we didn't accept. Staff is very accomedating, they take their leads from the Director's (Padric Whelan and James Montague) who make it their jobs to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as ever.

Myself my husband stayed here for three days. It is the perfect location for shopping, drinking eating and general relaxation. Staff are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend it for a short break at a very good price.
