Myself and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel for 2 nights mid-week and got a fantastic bargain! The hotel is located just off Eyre Square and you would never know that it was in a city!! The receptionist that greeted us was lovely and courteous and checked us in very quickly. We were on a B&B rate so we did not have dinner there, but there are lots of lovely little restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. We had breakfast there on the two mornings and had lunch on one day. The portions are very generous and set us up for the day, which is saying something as my boyfriend has a shocking appeitite! The hotel is nice and quaint, and the room we had was gorgeous, the bathroom was a little small but the decor through out the hotel was lovely and clean.
The only thing that we didnt like was one waitress with blonde hair was unbelievable rude. There is a choice of breakfast and she immediatly assumed "2 full irish and 2 teas" and walked away, I had to call her back, ask her for what i wanted and had to call her again to say that we wanted coffee instead. I got a look that basically said "stop wasting my time and eat". She also served us the following day for lunch and it was nearly the same treatment, eat up and shut up kind of attitude.
