I stayed here with my wife and kids for two nights. We had a great time as it was very close to shops and a shopping centre. We had breakfeast in the hotel both mornings and we had one evening meal. The breakfeast was ready straight away and it was everything you would expect. The evening meal was also very nice, i myself had the steak which i would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and helpful. would stay again if i'm ever in the area.

I have just stayed here the week between christmas and new year and, I have to say, I have never encountered such friendly obliging hotel staff. They bent over backwards to help and made for a very pleasant stay.

The hotel itself is superbly located. It is very clean, if a little worn. We had a triple room for the price of a double. Not bad value 12O euros for first two nights and 6O for the last. In general, I found Galway to be cheaper then Dublin. There was plenty of tea and coffee and the bathroom was well stocked. Room service was quick and of good quality. The only negative was that its advertises broadband in the room but I had to get moved 3 times before I was given a smoking broadband room. Still, it got sorted in the end so it was no big deal.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Considering the location, you could not do better in the city centre at this price range. The lobby's a little cramped and hectic but the staff were very friendly. Rooms meanwhile were just the job. For the price we paid this was terrific service. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for the breakfast so I can't comment on that.

I would drop one star because parking is in the large multi-storey behind the hotel and is not free (it's 50% off for hotel guests, I believe). Compare this to the Park House Hotel next door, where I think they have their own car park.

Had a two-night, midweek stay in this hotel. Have nothing but praise for it. Trying to think of a negative, but there isn't one!
Located just off Eyre Square, less than 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station. Rooms in excellent condition. Staff helpful & friendly. Had good nights sleep too, which is what you want when you're out investigating the region during the day.
Had one evening meal in the hotel, which wasn't exactly anything to write home about (my wrap was a little spicy), but it was fine as it was included in the midweek offer. Breakfasts contained the usual choice of cereals, toast, eggs, and full irish & were tasty. Plenty of bottled water provided in your bathroom during the infected tap water problems in Galway city, which I believe are now over.
Would have no hesitation in booking a stay there the next time we visit Galway. The hotel was fully booked while we were there, so looks like the secret is out!

I stayed at Forster Court two weeks ago for two nights and had a great experience. We had 11 people total, with some of the party wanting a room to themselves, others wanting two beds, and some people staying more than two nights. The staff was unbelievably helpful and cheerful and helped us out a lot, moving people around and making sure everyone in our group was satisfied. The morming I checked out, there were eight of us all leaving at 5 AM and the staff put out coffee and pastries for everyone to take on the road. My room was very nice with a nice balcony and a large bathroom with a raised tub. Very impressed by the hotel and highly recommend it.
