location:10 mins walk to centre of galway.easy to get to if your driving.

lobby and rooms:lobby is very basic.typical for travelodge.we were allocated a room for people in wheelchairs,which we did not need.this had plenty of space.cannot comment on the size of the average room.

bar & food:there is not much of a bar here from what i saw.did not use it anyway.seemed only to serve bottled alcohol.did not eat in the hotel.

very basic,great room rates though.ideal for budget traveler.no bad location.

the staff saved our weekend. we had initally booked into a hostel but as we didnt like the idea of smelling vommit all weekend we decided against it and chanced our arm and the staff kindly gave us 2 rooms and allowed us to put 4 in one room as we done this last minute they kindly allowed us in after they got a couple of cancllation. now they did warn us we may have to check out the next day as they had been booked out but when there were more cancellations they allowed us to stay on.

the place itself is good from what i remember, located just outside the city centre and no complaints at all.

Simple, no frills but VERY comfortable accomodation. Great breakfast for €9.50. Friendly staff. Computer in lobby. Less than 1 mile from city center. I went for the low rate of €79 for 3 adults but I am happy it turnred out to be a great lodging experience.

I use this hotel quite a bit when staying in galway, Its either €59 or €69 a night for a family room about 1Mile from Eyre square. Staff are very good, the porter will open the bar at any stage and let you get drink for your room,

Free phone to order taxi to wherevr you want from reception, its a couple of euro to galway city centre.

Room is good size, very clean, tea, coffee, all the normal stuff
