Have just returned from a three night stay at Days. The reception staff were all excellent and made the booking in process efficiently. The room was very good and had everything in it as advertised on the website. However due to large numbers of coach parties staying at the hotel it was impossible to obtain a meal in the evening as several sections even in the bar were reserved for them - on the Saturday evening we had to go out in the pouring rain to another hotel in order to get a meal. Breakfast on both the Sunday and Monday morning were also taken up with at least four coach party sittings so consequently there was very little food left and the staff seemed very uninterested. Days is a very nice hotel in an excellent position but something needs to be done about the food as lots of people were complaining.

We are just back from our weekend in the Days Inn in Galway, I reviewed the trip advisor tips before picking the hotel !
The check in was very slow as there was only one girl on, and a large queue formed behind us. I asked about dairy free option for breakfast and meals, and was told to mention it in the restaurant that evening.
The room was modern, comfortable but it lacked bed-spreads(all the room on our block were the same), Just a white duvet cover on the beds. (Not like that in their leaflet).
The meal in the restaurant was a disaster, the food was over cooked vegetables that were soggy and tasted of grease, my husband ordered the chicken which looked more like a sparrow, I asked about the soya milk and was told there was none, and I should have mentioned it at check in, I told them I had and they eventually found it, The desserts were bad too. The food served in the bar was much better !!!
Breakfast had "stale danish pastries" on both mornings, and over done fried eggs.
The evening entertainment and kids club were the high light of the trip.
The pool was bright, and had sauna, steamroom

Booked a room for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Got a special deal for 3 nights B & B and 2 Dinners. Checked reviews and seen they were good - so went for it. Only problem was that I asked for a nice view when booking over the internet , but was given a room looking onto a building site as they were renovating the leisure centre. Rang reception and they suggested moving us - No problem.!
Very helpful staff, rooms spacious and clean. Food good. No complaints. Would stay there again.

just back from the days hotel in galway. Really good value for families, kids club well supervised, kids mealtimes and competitions.
Rooms spacious modern and well kept. Staff helpful and friendly.
