From arrival this hotel impressed.

On check-in, we were immediately offered a porter to take our stuff to the room. The room itself was in the new wing at the back of the hotel. Stylish, spacious, spotlessly clean and very well fitted out with brand new fixtures throughout.

The restaurant was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to appease our 1yr old when he got upset during dinner. The bar area is tastefully decorated with comfortable sofas as well as tables and chairs should you choose to dine there as we did on our second night. Plasma screen TVs located around the bar walls weren't intrusive.

Attached to the hotel is a leisure complex with a fantastic pool and jacuzzis which we made full use of as the weather was being typically Irish.

We've stayed in a number of 4 and 5 star hotels over the years, Days Hotel was better than a lot of them and at half the cost. Great hotel, fantastic value.

Awesome experience. The building was spotless and all the staff was very helpful, checked in in a few seconds. My bedroom was very warm, really comfy beds and fantastic value for their midweek rates. Nearly didn't feel like leaving the hotel to explore the town. Breakfast was hearty as well, ate as much as I wanted. Would definitely go back.

My Husband and I stayed in the newly refurbished Day's hotel and found it to be a wonderful experience.I found the rooms spacious, anything extra we asked for was promptly arranged by the receptionist Brid.We found the leisure centre facilities to be excellent(large pool-kid, friendly also). We ate in the Bar on our second night staying and were satisfied with the food. I recommend the deep fried cod. Our waiter Gary was very friendly and brought us everything we asked for with a smile on his face. I would recommend to anybody visiting galway to stay in this hotel.
