The rooms and whole hotel are very modern and comfortable. Nice pool and gym. The hotel bar looked nice but didn't actual go in.

It was too far from Galway center for my taste. (8 - 10 euros to get a cab into town). Galway is an excelent/fun/young city and I wish i had stayed right downtown.

We've stayed in this hotel several times and it's a good little, albeit basic, hotel. The rooms are large (by European standards), clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts (on the B&B rate) are fine, and the restaurant is also fine for dinner. They have more than adequate parking (a real "treasure" in Galway) and a great pool and recreation facility. It can be busy sometimes with bus tours, but all-in-all it's a nice, friendly place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a meal included. The overall impression of the building is modern and clean. Rooms are nice and as expected for a days hotel. The room was very hot which in itself is a good complaint, but i've read a previous review which also makes the same comment so I would question the heating system effeciency. Breakfast is hard to believe it is so bad. I'm not opposed to buffet espeically for a busy hotel like this one as it eliminates bad service. But if u are gonna do buffet...well do buffet. this was more like scavaging as there was nothing to choose from in the buffet even though my partner and I arrived down 20 & 40 mins before the end of service on each morning. there was little or no choice and on the second morning no choice. no bread no dairies no scrambled egg no sausages no fried egg no bacon no tomato no nothin. Dinner was not much better. the leisure centre as i saw it was nice but my partner thought it was dirty probably something to do with the sanity towel on the floor and lack of soap in any dispenser in the toilets. The standard of service throughout the Hotel was what you would expect though as the staff young & old,national & non national were very polite and professional. Average hotel with below average food!

Excellent value for money on this hotel. The facilities were great, the staff couldnt have been more helpful and polite, and very little of the meal could be faulted.
Very well maintained large hotel just on the outskirts of the main city centre.
