“Excellent Coffee”

This was a great find hidden away in the streets of Galway. Beautiful coffee and a delicious salad. A small venue but well worth squeezing into.

“Scrummy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

Dropped into this small restaurant yesterday for lunch. What a delightful place - small but not cramped. Having many tables for two (or one) is a good idea. I opted for a pasta dish with prawns, scallops, green bean and red pepper. Whatever they do to their sauted onions is brilliant. The thin onion strips were packed with taste and the garlicky sauce was magic. I got caught using my finger to get the last drop of sauce - but it was so good I couldn't resist it. I was introduced to a lovely fruity white house wine. Wonderful food.

“Little Italy and much more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

Been for lunch a few times and had first evening meal there tonight. What can I say, great food, service and atmosphere. We eat out in galway a lot and this has fast become our favourite place to eat. Fresh, authentic and quality food. Salad starters were to die for ( yes salad was to die for, you heard me), pasta was so flavoursome albeit the homemade pasta slightly too thick and desert was out of this world. Service makes the place. Best place in the city right now. Well done!

“Best night of our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

This is a long overdue review for the best night of our trip in Europe last summer!

The food was brilliant, and yes, I do still remember it. I think it's always a good sign when a restaurant has a small, but frequently changing menu, and this proved to be the case. We were lucky enough to chat with one of the owners who aims to sell high quality Italian food and wine in a venue modeled in New York wine bars. I've never been to New York, but I'd say they hit the mark. It certainly fit the bill for two friends reuniting after a year and a half.

Brilliant atmosphere. It's cosy, and though we were fit in to the last two seats at the bar, it didn't feel claustrophobic. This also had the advantage of allowing us to chat to the friendly staff whenever they were at the bar, and we greatly appreciated their local knowledge and hospitality...not to mention a few laughs.

Thank you very much for a great night. I recommend Galway and this little gem to anyone heading to Ireland.
