This hostel was pretty nice, and one of the cleanest I have experienced... and I have experienced a lot.
They have 8 or so computers with free internet...that part is awesome. The kitchen is HUGE with plenty of room for 3 or so groups to be cooking comfortably at the same time. When we cooked, there were usually 5 groups attempting to cook at the same time, and even then it worked alright. There is a large dining area which is great, but closes at 10 AM I believe and also at midnight. Some of the staff are nice and allow people to remain there after midnight...however, we got yelled at once at 11 PM for being "too loud" which I failed to understand, as I don't believe we were loud at all. The staff was mostly nice, with a few grumpy ones.
Alcohol is not allowed in the hostel, which kinda put our dinner plans askew, as we had planned to cook a nice, Italian dinner for the last night of our three month Europe trip along with a bottle of wine, and we couldn't.
The rooms are spacey, with en suite bathrooms. There are also additional bathrooms and shower rooms outside of the guest rooms which were really nice because I often wanted to shower at 11 PM and didn't want to wake anyone.
I highly recommend The Galway Tour company, which picks up directly from the hostel in the morning. We went on their Cliffs of Moher tour and their Connemara tour, which were both excellent.
Nice hostel, nice staff. I would return here and recommend this place to a friend.
