Thanks Berna. This B & B was warm and charming. We loved our accomodations and chatting with our hostess. Our group had such a lovely time visiting Galway and staying at Devondell. Berna went to a lot of trouble to fix a lovely and delicious breakfast. This was our first B & B experience and certainly a pleasant one. Pick Devondell and you will not be disappointed.

Devondell is Galway's hidden gem. Tucked just on the other side of the river from central Galway, Devondell's cozy and quiet accommodations make it the perfect stay. The breakfasts are simply incredible - pastries, cheeses, beautiful brown bread, fresh juice, hot freshly made waffles, pan-fried goat cheese - oh how we miss it!!!

Undoubtedly the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Berna was an exceptional host providing sound advice, great food and all round great hospitality. She always seems to do that little bit extra for her guests which is rare these days. The breakfasts were as good as the reviews said and the quality of ingredients was the best. I would return at the drop of a hat

This was our last stop on our trip through Ireland. We were extremely worn out and couldn't have found a better place to spend the night. There was a little confusion about when we would be there to check in, but once we were able to check in we didn't want to leave. We were immediately offered tea/coffee and scones(the best I've ever tasted) and cookies to enjoy in front of the fire. Our hostess was very helpful in finding a good place to eat that night, although once we lied down to relax before going out we fell asleep! That morning we enjoyed the best breakfast I've ever had. There was an amazing spread of fruit, yogurt, cheese, scones, and a hot dish of our choice. The only negative about this place is the location. It was a little tricky to find, and it's in the end of a cul-du-sac, with limited parking. The drive to town was easy, and we were told where to park so that we would not have to pay. We never walked it, but I think it would have taken about 15-20 minutes. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay and the food can't be beat!
