pleasant stay in quiet house down a side street,average size bedroom and bathroom,clean and tidy.Breakfast adequet but not best o.j. A short drive to Salthill which is a typical kiss me quick resort but nive walk along promenade.Owners very nice and would return.

Berna is the ultimate B&B hostess and she should be awarded Ms. Hospitality of Ireland in my opinion!!! From her first e-mail to our departure hug, Berna's effervescent personality radiated through her every action. Her attention to detail, genuine kindness, informative guidance, infectious sense of humor, and delightful smile made our stay one of the most memorable experiences in Ireland. As for her acclaimed breakfasts - SUPERB!!! The breakfast room is absolutely charming and filled with delectable baked goods, fruits, and cheeses to be consumed while Berna prepares a custom ordered entree for each lucky guest.

While the Devondell is in the Salthill section of Galway with a 15- minute walk to the city center, we found it to be quieter and more relaxing than a busy, noisy city location. Berna even called for a Galway Tour bus pick us up at the end of the street rather than allowing us trying to search for a designated pickup spot. The rooms at the Devondell are immaculate and comfortable.

I would HIGHLY recommend a stay at the Devondell so that one can experience Customer Service at its BEST!!!! Berna is an absolute gem and is clearly doing a job she loves. She will make you feel that you are truly a guest in her home and after you leave, the fond memory of Berna and her beloved Devondell will remain with you as a treasured gift.

We stayed at the Devondell B & B for one night and thought is was the best B & B we stayed at during our whole trip to Ireland. Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, yet within walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Berna was the best host one could ask for. She is so friendly, funny, and makes you feel very welcome in her home. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was unbelievable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this B & B to anyone who will be staying in Galway.
