My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days over the Easter holidays. There are bus stops outside the hotel and a few minutes you are in the centre of Galway or you can walk it as it is not that far. The hotel has a good sized car park and there was still quite a few spaces even though the hotel was full. On entering the hotel reception we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who dealt with our booking and provided us with a lovely double room which overlooked Galway bay. The room had a massive double bed which by hotel standards was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The room had tea/coffee, hairdryer, television, direct dial phone and wireless broadband. The bathroom had the usual layout except it had the most wonderful powerful shower I have ever experienced in a hotel yet. The room was clean and non smoking and was warm at night when you needed it at this time of year in Ireland. Breakfast was in the main restaurant where cerials and fruitjuice was self service and you were served a harty full Irish fry up with loads of toast and tea or coffee. We ate in the lounge where they had a very reasonable and varied menu which we both enjoyed very much. There was also entertainment after the meals had stopped which meant you could relax and savour your pint of Guinness. We can recommend this hotel for your stay the staff are friendly and very helpful and it is a spotlessly clean hotel. We look forward to staying there if we are ever in that part of Ireland again. Sightseeing try the Cliffs of Mohar, Salthill, Lisdoonvarna or fly over to the Arran Islands it only takes 7 minutes from Galway. All in all a lovely part of Ireland where everyone is very friendly. Go there you will love it especialy in the summer when Galway City realy comes alive.
