Stayed here for the weekend over the February midterm. Had booked what we thought was an apartment but it turned out to be more akin to a townhouse - two floors, two bedrooms ... won't go into detail as previous poster has already described with great accuracy. It was a bit disconcerting at first to realise that the apartments aren't connected to the main hotel building but it never proved a problem and, with two kids, the additional space was wonderful!

Breakfast was great (better on Saturday than Sunday which was much busier) and the bar was also comfortable with friendly service. Swimming pool and outdoor hot tub were also superb.

The hotel was only a short walk from Eyre Square. It has free underground parking (just remember to get your ticket validated at reception before you leave).

All in all, this was the perfect spot for a family break. We'll be back!

  • Liked — The space we had in the apartments
  • Disliked — The queue for breakfast on Sunday morning!

I stayed in the serviced apartments which are located across the road from the main hotel. The apartment was really very nice and had most things that you would require for a long term stay. The sitting room was very nice with a lovely leather sofa, Flat screen TV, DVD player, Sky digital. The kitchen had cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher along with all delph and cooking utensils. There was also a lovley dinner table that seats four people in the living room.

Upstairs there were two bedrooms one was en-suite and they had very comfortable beds however i did miss having a TV upstairs and when i requested one i was told that i could not have one as there was one down stairs. There was a further bathroom upstairs and one downstairs aswell. There is also a hall when you enter the apartment and there is a phone supplied too. Wireless broadband is fully available in all apartments.

I would highly reccomend these apartments for groups and families because of the 2 bedrooms and facilities. As a guest you can also avail of the hotel services such as Gym, pool, spa resturants etc. The food in the main hotel is very nice and the staff are quite helpful, there is a underground carpark which is free for guests.

Although these apartments are owned by the radisson hotel i dont think you can book them online just yes so i would reccomend calling them by phone or email them to book.

  • Liked — Bigger than a hotel room with great facilities
  • Disliked — No TV in the bedrooms

A lovely modern hotel in a great location, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Eyre Square. The hotel is quite small with an small restaurant and small bar however very cosy. The food was of very high quality and the staff in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful, the reception staff were particulary helpful.

I stayed in a standard room and was very well layed out with everything in mind for guests such as broadband, tea/cofeemaking facilities, iron and ironing board and a massive comfortable bed. The rooms are a very pleasant contemporary design and are lager than average rooms in my experience.

Breakfast was included in my rate and for an extra €3.50 per day you may have breakfast brought to your room which i prefered.

As a guest you have free access to the spa with leisure facilities which have a great gym and pool and there are lots of spa treatments to avail of (at a charge).

Nice modern comfotable hotel within great distance from eyre square. I highly reccomend this hotel.

  • Liked — Comfortable
  • Disliked — No real bar in the hotel, a bit on the quite side of things!

My wife stays here regularly on business, and loves it because it suits the business traveller down to the ground. Easy parking, no busy, noisy bar, great staff, nice rooms.

We went in January for a weekend stay, and as usual were exceptionally well taken care of . The staff make this Hotel. Manager really cares and is genuinely interested in guests, he stopped to talk to us, just like the old days.

Girls on reception were able to recommend two different trips on the Saturday and knew about the market in Clifden. Rooms are always exceptionally clean and the girls in housekeeping ar so pleasant.

We will definitely be back and always recommend the Fairgreen to our Friends and Family.

We stayed here at christmas time as we were going to a party in Galway. I live locally and Know Galway quite well but still found finding the place a little difficult and would imagine for people arriving for the first time it was little awkward, However on arrival I was more than impressed there was a fantasitic atmosphere in reception. There was a beautiful christmas tree in the lobby and a real party atomosphere. Check iin was fine , staff were helpful although they were very busy. I was a little dispappinted about the size of the room although it was very modern and the design meant that all facilities were very compactly stored in the room. The beds were very comfortable , the decor nice and the bathrooms lovely.(though the mirrors a little scarey when one is hungover.)
There was a good selection of toiletries which were impressive.
Breakfast was nice and staff were pleasant. Would recommend the location if you are travelling without a car and you dont have kids with you. Would like to stay again and see level 5.
