I stayed here one a busy Saturday night with my Aunty.
The hotel itself is clean, modern and very comfortable - we had a beautiful sea view room. The beds were extremely comfy and we both slept well. The location is pretty central to the city and the hotel's concierge is very good at booking taxis etc for you. Breakfast is a real treat with a huge variety to choose from and kept me going until late in the evening. The staff at breakfast were also very friendly and helpful. I didn't manage to have time to expereince the spa facilities, but they did look divine!
However, I would be unable to rate this hotel as excellent due to my experiences with reception and the ridicuolus car parking situation. On check-in, the girl on the desk did not speak very good English so was not able to deal with my queries very well. I asked her about the complimentary underground parking as there was a sign saying that it was full. She said that we could drive in as there are spaces reserved for the hotel and somebody down there could help us. She also said that on check-out we should bring a "receipt to be refunded." When we entered the car park there was no sign of any spaces reserved for the Radisson SAS and the only signs down there were for another hotel. It was all very confusing and all a little maze like and there was nobody down there to help. On the morning we checked out I paid for the car park and brought the receipt to reception to be refunded as I was told on check in. A different lady checked us out and infomed us that we shouldn't have paid for it as they put it through a machine at reception for us. I explained my earlier converation to her and she said that couldn't possibly be the case (i.e that I was lying!) and that there was no possibility of being refunded. I found this to be very short sighted but could not be bothered arguing - the hotel was lovely and I enjoyed my stay, it's just a shame that my dealings with reception did not live up to the standards throughout the rest of the hotel.
