A great, reasonably priced hotel, close to where you need to be in Galway. Rooms are big and comfortable, the staff is very accomodating, and the ameneites are top notch for the price. The parking is a real bonus (free overnight). I'd absolutely stay here again...however, it might not be for those travelers looking for a place with character, since this is much like any other nice mid-range hotel chain.

We were a couple looking to stay in Galway, in a modern and central hotel, and found the Fairgreen to be perfect, and for the price, we were very very pleasantly surprised. It is a very stylish hotel, with clean, spacious, modern rooms. The location is perfect as it is very easily located off the main roads into Galway, and is very close to both Salthill, and the main streets. So much is within walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent--super selection and well presented. Having access to the spa and fitness centre is a real bonus, and really adds to the hotel's offering.

Can't really say a bad word against the hotel! Had a super stay and will definitely be back.

Great Hotel
Excellent food
The service was friendly and nice although I am a foreigner

Just back from a short break away with my boyfriend. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous, very modern decor.

Our room had the most amazing view of the lake to the rear of the hotel. Huge king sized bed, room overall was spotless and the shower was very powerful.

Dinner in the Marinas restaurant was beautiful. The prices seemed very expensive but our dinner was included in our room price. Breakfast was buffet style with loads of different options, very tasty.

The outdoor jacuzzi was great, very refreshing! The Spirit One Spa was beautiful and highly recommended.

The only criticism I have is that the pillows in the room were awful, like sleeping on cardboard. Apart from this, it's a really great hotel, and a great location!

Stayed in the Galway Radisson last weekend, found it to be very clinical and cold. Checking in was like waiting to check in at an airport. Bed was comfortable and big but the room was quite small. Out side the hotel there is building in progress it's not noisy but is unsightly.
A lot of large glass buildings going up in Galway it's a pity it was a lovely quaint city. We had dinner in the restaurant on the second evening which was unremarkable. More queing for breakfast buffet and again to check out. A very impersonal and expensive experience .
