Stayed in the Galway Radisson last weekend, found it to be very clinical and cold. Checking in was like waiting to check in at an airport. Bed was comfortable and big but the room was quite small. Out side the hotel there is building in progress it's not noisy but is unsightly.
A lot of large glass buildings going up in Galway it's a pity it was a lovely quaint city. We had dinner in the restaurant on the second evening which was unremarkable. More queing for breakfast buffet and again to check out. A very impersonal and expensive experience .

we stayed for 2 nights in the fairgreen hotel in march and we were pleasantly suprised. The rooms were lovely and the beds were the most comfortable we have used! my hubbie loved the choice on the breakfast menu but i felt my 'fry' was a bit microwaved! all in all excellent location and i would stay again! also has nice spa

Really loved this hotel, ideal location, 5 minute walk to Eyre Square, the hotel's outdoor hot tub is an absolute MUST, the breakfast was excellent and the Atrium Bar was a very pleasant place to relax in the evenings.
I wouldn't hesitate in recomending this hotel or in staying there myself again.

Just back from a christmas party night and I am glad to report no whinging whatsoever. The food was unreal the staff very friendly. The bar was located off into a corner so as to retain a pub atmosphere and also to leave the foyer area ungarnishned by hideous taps.
The Breakie was fantastic and the choice amazing.
My only small quibble would be that the cutlery good be upsized as they seemed very small. Location great although traffic was snarling outside.
