The beef and Guinness stew was the best I had in Ireland.

“Great Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

This is a great pub and restaurant. Great food served with a smile, and so helpful staff.
But most of all it is a great place for a drink. It fills up late in the evening with a younger crowd. and whatever you do, don't miss the gang of auld lads in the smoking area upstairs......or they could be sitting outside at a table, they are great fun and you will leave with a smile on your face.

“Friday night 11th May”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

Really liked the craic in this bar. The West coast cooler promotion was fantastic and friendly folks too. Met some very professional and well behaved individuals in this bar and others were just very entertaining, telling jokes and enjoying life in general. We will be back to recall a night of what you might call 'off the wall'!!!

“Greasy and bland”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2012

I went with my girlfriend today, and got a burger. It was VERY dry, tasted of nothing, and was obviously not seasoned AT ALL! The chips were below average.
My girlfriend got poached salmon which was supposed to be served on sun-dried tomato mash, but instead it came out on the worlds greasiest wedges and baby potatoes. The oil was dripping off them literally. There was a large puddle of melted butter (perhaps a sauce but it looked and tasted like just butter) on the plate. There was no explaination of why the mash was swapped. The rocket salad was soaked in oil.... i mean i like a bit of dressing, but this was a LOT of oil. The salmon itself was ok once you scraped off the thick layer of oil and melted butter.
We had a voucher for the restaraunt, but if we hadn't had that we wouldn't have walked out and not eaten it. At least the staff were fairly friendly.
If you like oil and butter, or just dry bland food then you are sorted.
Will definitey NOT eat there again.
