We arrived at Cregg Castle after an eight hour flight from the U.S. and an interesting drive from Dublin to Galway. We did not have a reservation but they excepted us regardless. We had printed a copy of the directions from their web site. Pat and Anne Marie were warm and gracious. They gave us directions to a local pub to eat and when we returned they played for us in the great hall. No it wasn't a typical bed and breakfast (they say this on their web page) it was however, wonderful and relaxing. This is also not a hotel, it is their home which they open to visitors. The grounds are wonderful to explore. This was our first visit to Ireland and I enjoyed staying at Cregg Castle in the country side than anywhere I stayed at in Dublin.
