“not many sites to see in Galway, this is one”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

This will not be a place you will spend much time in, as most of the buildings are new builds, but the main quad at the University is worth a look. Do wait to come on a sunny day.

“Beautiful Campus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

NUIG has a wonderful campus with historic buildings that make for wonderful photographs. The campus runs along the River Corrib which has a relaxing pathway to enjoy. The South part of campus is the original part with the old architecture. The North campus contains some newer buildings that are architecturally more modern but still very interesting.

“Best Architecture in Galway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

Visiting Galway the original Queens College building is Galway's greatest piece of architecture dating c.1850. The grounds are immaculate and makes for a very pleasant walk from the Town Centre. Follow the 'greenway' sign to cut in along the river.

“An interesting place to study.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

I visited the campus as a student, but there's enough history on and around campus to make it worth a look in. The Quadrangle is particularly spectacular, and it's location on the River Corrib makes for a beautiful walk through campus. The architecture is lovely and the grounds are kept immaculately well.
