My family (2 children, hubby, father-in-law, and brother-in law) stayed here one night in Sept. 2004. We arrived around 5:30 after the 4 hour drive from Dublin. Eileen was there to greet us and quickly showed us to our rooms. We had a family room (4 twin beds) and father and brother-in law had two twin beds. The rooms were very nice, with pine floors and fluffy beds, and the bathroom had a shower/bath. Unfortunately the pressure in the shower wasn't great but we had resolved that we wouldn't let something trivial like this ruin our stay. What did ruin our stay was the fact that the airline lost my luggage (I was travelling with 5 males, so for them to lose MY luggage I just could not comprehend). Eileen was more than glad to keep an ear out (as the airline said they would deliver my luggage that evening) and during our stay she was pleasant without being intrusive. We went out to enjoy Salt Hill and arrived back to find that the airline had not delivered my luggage, but our room beckoned and we all slept well (quiet location, and our room was in the rear). Our beds were comfy and the children actually slept in a bit late in the morning. A full Irish breakfast awaited us in the lovely little dining room of Eileen's house. Everything was delicious (breads, wonderful oatmeal, eggs, fresh juice and tea, of course, as well as an assortment of yogurts). After filling our bellies, we thanked our lovely hostess and were on our way to enjoying the west coast of Ireland.
