“My son's wedding day last Saturday was perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

This is a truly beautiful Cathedral in the middle of a wonderful city. Wherever you look it is on the skyline and it is such an outstanding vision in the distance. The wedding service was perfection and the Cathedral has wonderful altars and the Stations of the Cross are truly breathtaking. Everyone at the wedding was mesmerised with this beautiful church.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

I loved the inside of this church, as well as the outside looking across the bridge - I even bought a watercolor of the church in a local shop in Galway. Definitely worth a stop. It's in a very busy university area, but easy to walk to from the Latin Quarter

No charge to go in and it's worth it. Much to see and view. The Market place on Sunday is right next door. Stop in.

“A must for Galway visitors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Galway Cathedral is the focal point for most visitors to the city due to its splendid architecture and its fine interior layout. It really is a lovely building and well worth a visit.
