The room was very nice. The food was good and service was excellent. The pub was also fine. What was wrong? The front desk! I asked for information and service several times. In each and every instance, I was provided with either no information or bad information. The told us there were no parking problems when there were; gave us bad directions; gave bad information on things even in the hotel. The only way that front desk could be worse is if they hired Norman Bates to work there.

Stayed at the Galway Bay last week over the Halloween Break with a few friends and have to say we had an amazing time. We ate in the Restaurant and Hugh I think his name was was really helpful. I would definately recommend it especially for a group of friends heading away. We all had a treatment in the Spa which was out of this world. I will be returning in the New Year and just wanted to say thanks to all the staff of the Galway Bay!!

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend recently and I have to say I was very impressed! It has a beautiful setting, beside the sea, but also close enough to town. It has plenty to offer, we had full use of the gym and pool, and there was a beauty salon.
We had a meal included in our weekend stay, so we went to the restaurant. I'm a coeliac so it means its often difficult to find somewhere suitable to eat, I usually have to burden the poor waiters with lists of foods I can and can't have. I explained my allergy to the staff at the Galway Bay Hotel and they were very helpful. They understood and were able to tell me what I could and couldn't have on the menu. They took care of me, and I have to say I couldn't find fault with the food, it was gorgeous. Would definately stay here again

Myself and my partner stayed in the Galway Bay Hotel for the bank holiday weekend, in Oct and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff made us feel very welcome. We had dinner on the saturday night in the main restaurant and the food was excellent and the service was really good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The loaction was beauitful over looking the bay and the accomodation was lovley. I would recommend staying in this hotel and would book this hotel again, when I return to Galway as it is a really beautiful and fun place to stay.
