Small but well-appointed B&B on a quiet slip road with a good view of a section of Galway Bay. The room was a reasonable size and well-appointed with a comfortable queen-sized bed, electric blanket, satellite TV and power shower.
We were assisted by the very friendly owner, who even provided us with Internet access on his personal computer. Breakfast was excellent (plenty of Irish smoked salmon!).
One needs a car to get to the main shopping area and beachfront, but a shopping centre is within walking distance. There is plenty of free parking, both at the guest house and on the beachfront.
The water supply in Galway Bay is currently not drinkable, but plenty of bottled water was made available in the rooms.
Highly recommended and good value for money.
