Came across a couple of good reviews on this hotel. However, it has to be one of the worse hotels i have ever stayed in Ireland. For Eur189 per night, this so called 'boutique' hotel was nothing but a glorified tourist class hotel with bad service. Our room was facing the main road and because there was no air-con, we had to leave the window open and be exposed to the traffic noise all night! Breakfast the next day was bad with boling plates which guests had to try and lift from the buffet table with tissues. The only plus was the location to town. THAT'S ALL.

Just back from a 2 night stay at the harbour hotel. The hotel was in a great location just minutes walking distance from the city center. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and modern. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and had everything you need. I would defently go back to galway and would recommend the Harbour Hotel. The hotel carpark is a secure carpark and is free which is an added bonus.

Recently spent three nights at the Harbour hotel. The location is excellent as it is within easy walking distance to the town centre.
Although Galway harbour may not be the most picturesque, we stilll enjoyed watching the boats come and go. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Although the housekeeping staff were a little too efficient, throwing out a couple of items we were not completely finished with, but at least the room was clean and tidy everyday. The health and fitness suite was very clean and well maintained also and a pleasure to use, we were lucky enough to have it too ourselves each time we used it. Overall for a short stay the Harbour can be recommended. The carpark is very convenient too.

Stayed in the harbour for the weekend in June. We got an excellent rate on the hotels website which included dinner on one night. The dinner was good & the staff were very attentive. Although other reviewers had commented on the industrial area & noise we didn't notice it especially with the harbour on the other side & the close situation to the centre being 5 minutes we felt the situation was excellent. We has a room on the top floor & next door was a hen weekend which we thought would be rather noisy but we didn't hear a thing & the room was excellent . Definitely would return to galway city & this hotel.
