I was left unimpressed after a recent two day stay at this hotel.

The location is superb but then you are penalised with a nonsensical car parking arrangement whereby they do not offer a rate per day for parking your car. Whenever you take your car out you pay; a bit of sightseeing and you pay to take your car out; you return to the hotel and stay overnight, you pay again. Nonsense!

The rooms are very nice but again, with more thought and effort it could be so much better. The towels looked 100 years old and were frayed at the edges. The sinks had hair in them on arrival. There was no plug for the bath. The water pressure was very poor esp for the toilet. Again, none of this makes any sense as the rooms are decent and the bed comfortable.

Location is the only reason to stay in this hotel apart from a good gym.

We stayed here as part of a group during the Galway Racing Festival. Overall I don't think there is anything I can fault it on. The staff are friendly and efficient. The guys in the bar were very helpful (Kevin and Martin I think were the names of two guys in particular) and good fun. The food was very good (especially as we were part of a group of 60+ all sitting at once!). The rooms are spacious enough, clean and comfortable and the location is great. I would happily reccommend this place to anyone.

I am also delighted to see that the operations manager has taken the time to submit comments on some of the reviews written about the hotel. It is good to see that they are interested in what their guests have to say about the place!

Stayed for one night in June. It is a nice modern, trendy looking clean hotel. If you want an irish traditional style hotel this is not for you. However, if you want european modern and comfortable, and somewhere central and are in Galway for the nitelife this is hotel for you. It was full of overnighters for concerts, hens, stags, weddings and birthdays etc so quite lively. Maybe not for those wanting a relaxing and quiet stay. Having said that now it wasnt all rowdy and noisy either. The rooms were modern, nice comfortable beds, big clean bathroom with plenty of toiletries. I had no complaints. Has a few drinks in the bar which has a nice atmosphere. Bar food wasnt great thought. The residents bar was open until about 4am on a saturday night so we got drinks after the nightclub there. Always found all staff pleasant. Breakfast was lovely very enjoyable and plenty of choice even when last down and no bother to anyone to get us what we wanted even if we were cutting it down to breakfast at last minute. Locationwise the hotel is few mins from Eyre Square so is walkable everywhere which is a big plus for me. I would definately stay here again.

Stayed here for a wedding. Located within walking distance of Eyre Square. We had a great breakfast. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was good. You have to pay for parking. The bar was full of people lots of Stags and hens floating around.
