An excellent value, particularly for Galway which reportedly has some of the highest hotel prices in Europe. I paid 99 euros per night B&B during my September stay. Other well reviewed Galway hotels were more than twice as much.
The location, facilities, breakfast, and free parking are all fine. A five minute stroll takes you to the center of the pedestrian zone. Other hotels may be slightly closer, but this hotel's setting on the waterfront is worth the few extra steps.
The rooms were modern and the beds comfortable. (My single room had a double and a twin.) The room was a bit warm even though the weather was not. The window only opened an inch or two, so it did not offer much relief. The breakfast buffet provided all the expected items.
Because parking can be difficult in Galway I appreciated the free car park. Finding the entrance to the car park is not intuitive, however, as it is on a side street around the corner from the hotel.
