This hotel is modern, classy and has a very cosy reception with a huge fire. The food in the restaurant was fantastic with great vegetarian options, although portions were slightly small. Bedroom was nicely decorated but was very warm and had to open window to a very noisy road beneath.Try to book a room at back of hotel away from road. The hotel is in a perfect location being only a 5 minute walk to galway city centre.I definitely recommend staying here

Stayed in this hotel on bank holiday Monday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very modern and cleaned and maintained to an extremely high standard. The staff have to be the best that I have ever seen in Ireland and they couldn't do enough for us. The room we had was a corner room so was lovely and bright with a great view of the harbour. The bar was really cosy and the drinks and food very reasonably priced - in fact the drinks were cheaper here than some of
the pubs around the city. The free parking was very convenient and it
was only a 5 minute walk to the city centre. The only thing that this
hotel lacks is a swimming pool but it does have a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Treat yourelf to a stay here....

Having read some of the reviews I was apprehensive about my stay at the Harbour . I had no need to worry. The hotel was fabulous. Rooms comfortable, cleaned and linen changed regularly !
Staff were helpful and oozed our world famous Celtic charm!
I did have the misfortune to deal with a rather dour Russian guy on reception / night porter duty. I can only hope he cheers up and finds himself a personality /sense of humour!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel on 11 October. Its ideally situated , about 7 minutes walk from Eyre Square. The hotel is quite modern and spotlessly clean. We found all the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellently appointed with tea making facilities, iron and hairdryer provided. The rooms were cleaned daily , the towels and linen changed daily also. We got a great deal of 198 Euros for two nights including a superb breakfast each morning, we found this to be excellent value considering how close it is to Eyre Square...you are close enough to the social scene and yet off the beaten track near the river for a good nights sleep. The manager obviously has a keen interest in customer care as there are customer comment cards everywhere. Great hotel. We'll be back.

An excellent value, particularly for Galway which reportedly has some of the highest hotel prices in Europe. I paid 99 euros per night B&B during my September stay. Other well reviewed Galway hotels were more than twice as much.

The location, facilities, breakfast, and free parking are all fine. A five minute stroll takes you to the center of the pedestrian zone. Other hotels may be slightly closer, but this hotel's setting on the waterfront is worth the few extra steps.

The rooms were modern and the beds comfortable. (My single room had a double and a twin.) The room was a bit warm even though the weather was not. The window only opened an inch or two, so it did not offer much relief. The breakfast buffet provided all the expected items.

Because parking can be difficult in Galway I appreciated the free car park. Finding the entrance to the car park is not intuitive, however, as it is on a side street around the corner from the hotel.
