Where do I start,
I use a lot of the jurys hotels in ireland and the UK, They are normally of a very good standard but the Galway Jurys inn really lets them down badly.
The rooms are generally not great, very small
Firstly a man (Staff member) walked into our room as we were getting ready to head out one night. Said he was checking to see was it empty, very suspishious,
Then we had no hot water for the first night, so no shower, next morning no hot water despite the fact that we brought itto their attention the night before. then when we were about to head out that night I ran a bath only to see brown water coming from the taps and dirt in the water!!!!!!
Called down to reception, they said leave it running and it will get better, 30 mins later it was still the same. Called again and eventually got speaking to a shift manager who said he was upgrading us. We ended up with a smaller room?
When I complained that he had wasted hours of my time and that we had missed our dinner reservations he offered me a free breckfast the next morning,
When I went down the next morning there was no record of a free breckfast for me,
I can go on but if your still reading now you get the picture.
Other downsides of this hotel are the noise the delivery men make to the bar in the mornings, you can hear them if you have aroom with window overlooking the street. also you have to pay €10 a day for parking,
Stay in one of the many hotels in Eyre Square, far better and equally as good a location.
