Having stayed at this hotel before on numerous girlie weekends away, I knew what to expect - a clean hotel with a great location and friendly staff. Not really somewhere to go on a romantic weekend but perect for groups of mates, hen do's and stag do's.

Spent one night at Jurys Galway. The location can't be beat. The hotel is at the bottom of the main pedestrianized street with shops and restaurants. My room overlooked the River Corrib, which is surprisingly noisy as it runs fast, but it was a great view. The room was bright and cheerful with a double bed and couch. The bathroom is large with a full tub/shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Dunne's store at Eyre Square has a grocery store in the basement, and the wonderful Sheridan's Cheesemongers is a few blocks from the hotel. Jury's hotels are not fancy but always reliable for a decent-sized room and good service.

We just returned from a week in Ireland. Our first night was spent at Jurys Inn Galway. The hotel has a great location along the river. It is also easy walking distance to the tourist area. Hotel lobby and hallways have all been updated and look great. While we did not eat in the hotel resturant or drink in the hotel pub both looked very inviting with updated decor. While our hotel room was comfortable and clean it was somewhat on the small side and well worn.

Just returned from the Jury's Inn in Galway with a sore head and some great memories. This hotel is about as close as you can ever get to the heart of galways creich, in other words it is on the doorsetp of all the main bars and restuarants. This is what makes this hotel so ideal and I would return again in a minuit. The reception was bright and staff attentative, although they missed out one night of our booking which was easily sorted. The rooms ar fairly standard and the do8uble beds a bit on the small side, no mini bar (none required), coke machine etc in hall thhough. The breakfast was average, although we recommend you get out and about to eat. There was a considerable amount of noise from traffic and this could be a source of annoyance particularly in summer when you have the windows open (Galway doesn't need air conditioning really). Bar area was very pleasant, it has a 24 hour licence although it shuts at 1.30pm as stag & hen nights would take over if they remained open. To conclude, the hotel is ideal for a weekend break, we also had a great veiw of the bay and the Spanish Arch.
