Staed in Jurys for 1 night only thank god, we wanted our last night away to be good so thought Jurys would be perfect but OHH not good. No Parking except in adjoining muilti storey car park. Breakfast not included in room rate of 109 for room only, a bit Steep. Room was old and dingy facing onto the front of hotel very noisy considering there was double glazing. Bath was tiny and bathroom overall was very tired looking. Not what we exoected at all. Bar food was ok, could not wait to check out next day. Will not be going back.

Stayed in the hotel over my college midterm with my boyfriend, really enjoyed the stay! We stayed for three nights and found it very relaxing and comfortable. Our only problem was our radiator was broken so we had to move rooms which was inconvenient but the staff were very nice about it. The rooms were a good size and had a double bed and a single too, the bathroom had both a shower and bath and was kept clean. We had a view of the river out the window which was lovely to sit and look at and it wasn't too noisy at night because we weren't facing onto the main street, however we were usually in late anyway so wouldn't have heard any noise that was made outside. When we arrived in after a night out there was a security guard who checked our name and room numbers which was reassuring so we knew not anyone could get into the hotel. We never tried the restaurant or bar in the hotel but the menu did look tempting! It was in a perfect situation, just at the end of shop street so that we could walk to places and never had to rely on taxis. We went midweek and it was brilliant for going out at night as people on the street stamped us giving us free into clubs before 12 greatly reducing the cost of a night out!! Karma nightclub fills up quick on thursdays btw and they stop letting people in!!!! :( so if you want to go to that one go early! gpo is good on wednesdays as there is a choice of 80's/90's music or more modern stuff on two different floors. I'd definitely go back there again! can't wait!!! p.s. full cable!! great to lie in bed and watch if you're feeling lazy!!!

Found this hotel to be great for my purposes. I wanted a hotel in the centre of Galway for accessibility and this place was perfect. Reception areas were very nice. We has a triple room overlooking shop street. There was a little noise at night, but not too bad. The room was comfortable and clean, although the bathroom was a little worse for wear. There was a lot of mildew and peeling tiles. It just needed a face lift, but was fine for the price and location.

Driving into Galway we were a little worried, since driving is very confusing, but I had found Jury's as an option because it was close to a poker room my husband wanted to check out. It turned out the Jury's was not too expensive (99E) especially since there was garage parking right next to the hotel, and all you had to do is step out of the hotel and you were in the main shopping/dining district.

The hotel at the time had a water ban due to some contaminants in the city's water system, but the thoughtfully provided bottled water in the bathrooms to brush your teeth with, and also water coolers in the hallways for water to drink.

The room was serviceable, clean and neat. I loved the coffee bar downstairs.

The only downside was the street noise at night. Jury's is right by a bridge going over the river, so it's a congregating place for all the teens. But I didn't find it too annoying.
