This is by far the best seafood restaurant in Galway. From beginning to end the dining experience was superb. Well done and keep up the good work!!

“Wonderful seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

We booked a table after reading great reviews.
Water was put on our table straight away, and we were served by a very friendly waitress who was helpful without being over the top.
We ordered the tasting plate to share which was amazing.
For mains, I had the prawn and chili samble which I was told was 'dramatic' but tasted great. She wasn't lying! There were 3 whole prawns and another 10 prawns with tails on the plate, held up by skewers almost like a teepee. The waitress explained how to best go about eating it and brought me a spare plate and finger bowl.
My partner had the fish and chips (whiting) and found it very tasty. There was a steady stream of guests the whole time we were there. The wine list looked good but we didn't have any.
Would definitely return, and recommend to anyone who likes seafood.

“sorry sold out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

we got the last table for two at 8pm .having called earlier they suggested we might not be guaranteed a atble so i actually called back ten minutes before i arrived and was told yes they had a table
It was a Monday night ,the menu was displayed on the blackboard on our small table
We choose one starter to share but had to ask for two plates and then for some bread
we choose scallops only to be told there was none left
Surprise our second choice was also sold out
waitresses (only two ) seemed busy and we waited for water to be put on the table .
wine service was also slow
however our waitress was very cool and calming and pleasant
She knew we were annoyed
however the main course was very nice my steak nice and tender
The hake my friend has was beautiful and a generous portion
we has two after dinner drinks
i asked for ice in mine but the cubes were so small it had melted before i even tasted it
i asked for more and was served another mini ice cube in a tiny glass
restaurant very busy
we will be back but in early i hate being told my preferred dish is sold out

“Great Seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

Great place. Food fantastic. Pricey but worth it. We had prawn starter - beautiful. Then, scallops & mussels - brilliant. Cheeseboard well chosen.

“Found it in trip advisor and was impressed.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

Stopped for a quick bite here lately and was impressed with the place. We just had a few starters and some desserts - but overall the quality of the food was top class. Would recommend to anyone and thought their chowder was up there with the best. Worth the trip and picked because of the high rating and number of reviews on TA. Well done.
