My husband and I stayed at this B&B on our first night to Ireland. It was absolutely wonderful. We'd just arrived into Shannon that morning, so were dead tired by the time we arrived at St. Martin's. Mary made us coffee and her wonderful brown bread, which definitely helped perk us up. She told us where to park (for free), where the best pubs and music were and was extremely helpful. The backyard is beautiful and it was a perfect little place to stay, and within a 2-minute walk from the city center. I highly recommend this place!

Had a reservation but they couldn't honor it, said a 90 year old lady stayed longer. Funny we had reserved a 3 person room over 1 month in advance.

Truly, 5 star service. Mary the proprietress is warm and incredibly helpful and thoughtful. The double room my boyfriend and I stayed in was small, but impeccably clean. The bed was more comfortable in my bed at home, and the B&B's location could not be better. Everything was a delight. The breakfasts were great, and Mary immediately asked after any dietary restrictions. Additionally, the television in the room has Sky (cable) which is unusual in such a small B&B. I could not recommend St. Martin's more.

We stayed here based on reviews and weren't disappointed. Its a terraced house right downtown backing onto the river, and right by the pedestrian area, restaurants and pubs. We were given tea and cakes as soon as we arrived, and again the next day when we came back form our outing there was a knock on the door and tea and biscuits. The rooms are small but cosy and quiet with ensuites. Parking is paying (few euros per day) by the cathedral 500 metres away but you can load and drop off by the house.
